You will be mainly accountable for:
- Analyzing complex mechanical systems and exploring the introduction of sustainability concepts into product development.
- Learning more about sustainability and life cycle assessments based on bill of materials and 3D models.
- Getting familiar with the newest AI technologies like LLM that can support extracting information on geometry and manufacturing from bill of materials .
- Comparing different AI approaches to find the best solution.
- Collaborating with our team members and learning about new technological trends and future control and protection devices.
- Documenting and presenting scientific results in a professional environment at ABB.
Qualifications for the role
- You are studying for a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
- You have good knowledge and experience in coding, in particular Matlab or Python.
- Experience with the use of LLM/AI is beneficial but not required.
- You are fluent in English (written and oral).
